The Shanghai Jaipur Collection by ahilya honours two traditions of hand printing.

This reversible quilted placemat is made of vintage screen-printed fabric printed in the 1950s in Shanghai. The reverse is a floral block printed in the artisan city of Jaipur.

50% of the sale of each placemat goes to Teach for Nepal, an NGO that provides two-year paid opportunity for Nepalese graduates. During this period, Fellows engage in teaching roles within rural village's secondary public schools, fostering academic achievement and profound changes among their students, empowering girls and nurturing talent.
